INDEX

Our CEO Alex Karnatowski was part of the jury of the Ecommerce Awards España 2025, organised by Marketing4eCommerce. The final gala took place at ICEX in Madrid and brought together leaders and leading companies from the Spanish digital sector.

374 entries from 189 companies

This year’s edition received 374 entries from 189 companies. The level was very high. Congratulations to all finalists and winners: you are an inspiration for the whole industry.

The categories Alex judged

As a jury member, Alex voted in the Best eCommerce category, where he evaluated PcComponentes, and in Executive of the Year, where he evaluated Alberto Gutiérrez Pascual. He also assessed entries for Best SEO Strategy, including Civitatis, and Best Omnichannel Integration, including Leroy Merlin.

The hardest part: being fair

The hardest part of being on a jury is doing it well: being fair, sticking to the criteria of each category and not being influenced by personal experience. Yes, he has shopped on some of the candidates’ websites, and he knows people at many of these companies. But when you vote in the SEO category, those things should not matter.

Comparing very different companies

Comparing a multinational with a startup is complex. Behind each entry there are people, contexts and resources that are very different. It takes time and careful analysis, and Alex enjoyed it a lot.

Thank you

Thanks to Rubén Bastón and the whole Marketing4eCommerce team for the organisation, and to everyone we met at the event. See you at the next edition.
