Twenty participations at Digital 1to1, and 26 sponsorships across Alex Karnatowski’s companies. A nice anniversary, and a slightly unusual one.

Since 2016

Alex has missed very few editions since 2016. He has met hundreds of people and brands, and made friendships that continue today. A special mention to Jordi Tomas, Allan Chung and Álvaro Butragueño: between the four of them, they probably hold the record for attendance.

Why we keep going

People often ask why we still go after so many years. The answer is simple: it works, and we enjoy it. It gives us visibility, business and clients. But it goes much further:

  • We see our clients in a relaxed setting, outside the office.
  • We look after our network and grow the community.
  • We meet companies that were not on our radar.
  • Our clients introduce us to their contacts.
  • Giving talks forces us to stay up to date.
  • We share knowledge and learn from others.
  • Even competitors become colleagues in the sector.
  • And yes, we also enjoy the networking and the parties.

This year in Alicante

The latest edition took place in Alicante, with an impressive panel of companies and speakers, and for the first time, the AI Commerce Awards. We met new people and caught up with many others.

Almost ten years of change

In almost ten years of Digital 1to1, the sector has changed enormously:

  • In 2016 Alex gave his first talk: “SEO & SEM strategies on Amazon”. For those who now say “SEO is dead”, we were already talking about multi-platform SEO nine years ago.
  • In 2018 he started speaking about voice search and appeared on Rubén Bastón’s Marketing4eCommerce podcast.
  • In 2019 we were already talking about the importance of Digital PR, which is more relevant than ever with AI.
  • Since the pandemic: 15 in-person events, many talks and great projects shared with amazing brands.
